Saint Joseph University of Beirut which was established in 1870 occupies one of the first and superior academic levels in the field of the Orthodontic sciences worldwide.

   The total duration of the – Professional Master in Orthodontics (D.E.S.O) – Program in Saint Joseph University is three years, five days a week with no less then 45 hours per week. To obtain this degree the doctor has to treat at least 120 orthodontic patients, and after he pass all the writing, practical and clinical exam he has to prepare and discuss a statistical thesis at the end.
