This patient had 4 congenitally missed
permanents teeth: the two upper laterals and the two lower first
premolars. We have decided that the goal of the orthodontic treatment
for our patient is to close the spaces that are visible in places
of missed teeth, so we put the canines in place of the laterals
and the premolars instead of the canines. After the orthodontic
treatment, our patient has good occlusion with no false teeth
(bridges or implants) and that had been established after only
two years and two months of the orthodontic treatment. |
